Mr. Burk has inspired me in marching band so much, that I actually became a better marcher with his advice. He is one of my favorite band directors here at Horn High School (even if he says that he is a grumpy old man, I don't believe that at all). He told me to keep my toes up (he says that to everyone, but mostly me). He has told me to use my peripheral vision when I am marching. (P.S. He always picks on me because I'm a freshman). The reason that he says that is so that we can stay in step and in line. He has also helped us by giving us our music, sets, and chalk to mark our sets.
